. P2 B1 p7 A" f0 [From our SLC Global Service Business Process Shared Services (BPS) Business Shared Services (BSS) Global Translation Services (GTS) CN, Siemens are looking to recruit a professional Translation Specialist.

What are my responsibilities?

7 _1 T2 @- _4 i( HContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
+ O) Y; {3 _8 v0 X) J9 NProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
7 d5 |: Q$ V: C! UOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
; Y/ u3 t. C+ g# I% a2 O4 ?, ]Research, define and provide terminology
5 ]7 q) g0 h* @1 f8 ^Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
0 @5 M% c6 L& J5 y; _- }& uSupport and advise external translators
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

. _& Q9 a/ j7 B# r* Q+ F: T8 pWhat do I need to qualify for this job?
' F7 g; [7 D: Y8 p9 \, w0 f- b
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
* G4 m8 z. m# Z; m. R( eWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
+ ^* `6 `  ?# yExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
+ J( B0 B+ C# W! o/ OExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
$ |( ~* z& K; `( ?- c. c0 c$ y& p6 QAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
