- S. c9 R1 n7 q1 ^Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
5 v. ^- e2 K+ ?+ j4 qProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS! U. e$ S# ^9 p! l: S; x
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations! C3 X3 Z( W! t+ c/ g. v
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring6 K5 W! \/ w) B" o
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications; r8 |% N. Y% v
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results( s; n- k/ O/ k$ H" m
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors: w5 O. V( K+ }3 F. Z A
Research, define and provide terminology
, i2 L& `' w3 CAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level0 i9 J* x y6 y5 |. w4 ~! q' I+ C# ^# r
Support and advise external translators8 C E0 V1 W; C- r9 ]7 c% ]( r# F
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?# k3 @$ }& D* F
# q' Q3 n4 J' E
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
- d- l! ~8 J- m: |Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)# F+ a9 Q9 Z, w$ O0 s
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
/ M! n1 J6 X- J/ C4 nExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
4 Q$ w* ^2 z/ ~' |# e% V) \# YAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
8 Q- r3 [+ ?8 ~" Q0 d# f- HPrefer basic understaning about German
