Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders$ Q, p2 E2 e) x6 \6 H+ E
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
" a: R( V' k! G$ n4 F8 PReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
8 z$ B7 L4 p& I3 j! j7 ~2 I8 }1 B$ [Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring! |4 q/ s" G$ E0 f, q" p. d
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications- A, H8 @4 E5 u8 r4 Q* r/ q
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results* i( l V3 ?, q
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors. ~5 \/ o, T2 `1 y. I0 G& u% t: F& u
Research, define and provide terminology) ^& ]1 z1 a0 s# H* V" I
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level l, w) k% a8 K1 S
Support and advise external translators
' V2 c9 Y5 V4 j- G, v: W3 ?6 zUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior0 q7 \% R: s0 M5 B6 b% \
& k- b. v7 X7 F. R7 M: {What do I need to qualify for this job?4 m" H: J9 |; W. p
/ b% r; n8 j( V# ^Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience, Y6 c) F: k ]' L+ H
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
7 w- |9 q; f$ w/ w5 u# z, hExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
5 k, U1 A. E0 j8 c- D4 }' WExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
) w* n! [5 P% R6 D, x3 L( \3 s2 FAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
