Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders, u2 R$ ~/ i D* w! S
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS0 F9 V: e6 a% d# r; e8 o
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
4 }/ |7 c0 P3 c& d8 l6 M" }8 g! Y7 XOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring0 M! |6 M+ _$ a q3 }" a7 ^
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications, {! ^( A; C& d& ^( W# Q \3 p1 W
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results- C; Q f6 E" F
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors( |0 d7 L9 C% t+ C- c2 H2 d
Research, define and provide terminology D8 G Q/ e/ I0 a3 E
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
u( \: k4 I. w! CSupport and advise external translators

What do I need to qualify for this job?( }& M+ T( k, w& g$ Z
7 K: b5 W0 M! I9 _3 Z; s
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience+ v; c; A7 d% G' \) Q
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
( i/ i; b k5 e' u5 nExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market( {7 Q1 F& o; O4 U c
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
1 f& }- O3 X" D# K' YAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills; U5 h. Q- `* }/ Q: U. e, y e$ ^
