Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders. e7 t0 ^* X8 D) S. [2 Y1 Q* n& n
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS0 E+ H7 T# w. |7 `2 K: q
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
X7 B2 s a0 R" y b$ ^; @Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring- g, I" j3 R1 v M
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
" z4 ~" b7 C# ^: a& e3 b# Z: q$ COptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results" Y* u- X3 c- K/ ?! T
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors6 G l o( G* F1 |
Research, define and provide terminology
3 \$ s7 |* G# B* nAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level
0 S' ]0 S! V' R* U/ MSupport and advise external translators

What do I need to qualify for this job?
7 o2 M6 b3 _+ O9 K! ]( j, ^. c) [) R3 N0 c; \0 i
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
9 f/ R2 K& K; ~: U; iWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)* ^" C6 M' L* w' y/ b
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market7 O4 t) S! Z8 \0 r8 X
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus3 g* t3 k+ z. I
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
