Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
8 e; }# t- s' V- _Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS& J3 F- E# n( m# ~* b X0 ^
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations; ~' A2 h" z3 J. g
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
0 I; B. i+ r/ V/ P9 ZOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
4 \) C, _5 Q5 T3 c# G6 O9 aOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results: i9 k9 X$ J8 {" @3 p! v
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors& h6 n# M7 J$ E& ~8 o
Research, define and provide terminology
1 i4 \" h3 p PAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level
+ D7 }2 _7 D2 u- u1 K3 _Support and advise external translators3 B% T7 f! q2 |
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior. n6 r, x& L% f y

What do I need to qualify for this job?1 Q) _0 ~- @* }0 Z5 b0 r3 Z
( W' H3 V B3 i" i" ~! G# |Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience7 _* M6 z7 F4 Q1 k$ @" I( P
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)3 Y: K8 i6 R+ o6 Q: X$ T
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
0 q; d# _* X0 \. AExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus" u. A9 {+ U% T7 z$ H
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills6 d. v: m/ c# l8 }" T
