What are my responsibilities?

Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders B; k( r9 r+ `; W8 d2 t% {
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS3 {8 V- z6 X" M- s7 j
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
2 V8 h6 W# E: G- A9 jOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring: ?* T9 Y$ }( K) w% _
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
& ?/ X0 v7 C9 R3 }, Y2 KOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results6 I1 C" S" i8 }3 R) E4 S0 ?
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors! q6 J- E( v( R+ {4 | c ~& }
Research, define and provide terminology+ N" o. s7 W: b
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level

Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?
) P9 L: }# z" L5 Q; e) f" K. C, f9 ^* x2 y3 ?0 r
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience& E* f" N x3 o2 b- A) r
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
# R. P$ E, s6 p. p3 mExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market4 X1 `6 o. s0 C4 z5 E' c5 F2 k' I0 G
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus8 e; _5 e# d; S! a
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills* x) H& ^% t) ^/ r0 L: @
