Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders: s2 f1 w; S8 ~! F6 N: q' v
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS% t0 ~3 y& K/ j3 B' b6 F0 [" f8 W% U
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations6 F4 X! K( Q6 U, R4 L; K, F
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
! N6 M g7 K& ^' fOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications, v/ M3 a8 P6 a, ^, @
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
, r" E% @! o; V* e- f( UTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors1 _9 c+ M, S' j2 F
Research, define and provide terminology
+ y8 P3 B( X* c1 s3 jAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level
$ e; y' p# f! o: d* }, h$ K$ GSupport and advise external translators

: n" C% S7 n( C5 ^2 K" NWhat do I need to qualify for this job?
$ q" H5 _ u4 ^& _1 W$ R" X& E% A( C6 A2 I( j: X6 b, [
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
2 R/ T- F! n& eWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
$ P# v5 t" l/ j, b6 }; [Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market6 W3 \* V* S; {/ }
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus2 z% [6 ~6 [4 A0 d. C
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
