From our SLC Global Service Business Process Shared Services (BPS) Business Shared Services (BSS) Global Translation Services (GTS) CN, Siemens are looking to recruit a professional Translation Specialist. r$ u/ J2 F8 G* [

What are my responsibilities?
$ B- }, G/ ~0 ~8 t5 w% _' i
% O) C/ ]8 O" J) a' R- NContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
# N& W f* g4 p" f" eProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS# j% z. ^) x" X/ C' }
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
+ b3 n: p; k; T' J9 ~2 cOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring) m3 P6 K" H' X
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications+ v+ @- ], P- T! ~
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
2 N2 o3 |; d2 DTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors/ R5 A' e4 E5 r& z: Q- c
Research, define and provide terminology
$ M$ ~( r; G3 ^Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
* N" \) S: e! {! \Support and advise external translators! B: a. ~. V4 i) {$ N: @5 A" t8 a
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior( {! Q# ?. j8 C& i$ w( ^7 n5 P. U

What do I need to qualify for this job?
5 U, m7 K, e: j+ P
" L2 p T& e6 U, y0 [Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
0 H) }% @9 T$ lWell grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company): S& L6 }2 q6 \
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market4 U: F2 z7 j! ^2 M/ n# A9 R2 d
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
4 M4 S1 ^6 A) K1 SAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
