What are my responsibilities?# i* P& Q$ I# [1 F4 i

Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders. C- M" H# ~+ y- j2 ?' M
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
- l7 C" }( I( j- s2 L3 ]- PReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations/ g% X) b% E) t' p+ A( j0 p
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
$ L3 I/ E4 y* `' XOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications( v- Y' P; U s: f" |. X
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results* o3 Q. H1 p7 c: D" G
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
: d: {4 D. S+ b* qResearch, define and provide terminology
9 G- t' n/ l, N5 \+ A; IAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level& \, ?; T9 C7 J; D* ? `
Support and advise external translators
6 R/ O* ~7 H% JUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

+ Q: Z# D. {/ g& n1 fWhat do I need to qualify for this job?

: M6 v" R. P3 O7 ]4 w2 [( KBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
. \. H. `2 Z* O. |Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company): ~/ b. M( f. H, ~6 A) l$ C- j6 C& c
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
! m7 L$ l1 q5 T8 GExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
& u# D) P5 e! b2 iAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
