What are my responsibilities?0 D1 _- j9 \3 E' e$ Q
9 a% j$ U! M1 X2 X' oContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders) d* G, A( I, ]: T' g
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS6 U, c6 ^+ ?6 i2 F8 c
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations; Z6 P J3 ~ p: f: g
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
- Q: y5 ~" K9 d8 y( g) m$ [# XOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications/ y [, ^- I, s' H2 r
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results9 s8 ~5 g9 t; }6 q% D& k
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
; U6 [; J! k/ F% F5 ]/ `Research, define and provide terminology
l# u# S$ j8 tAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level

What do I need to qualify for this job?! v+ c' r+ _& g$ _ G* ~
0 X: L$ V8 Z+ _- @* V/ I7 h
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
6 y6 Z4 P0 X# E2 `Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
, |- h7 [* e" P/ `Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market' G. F- w5 T0 ]" `" [) i: u$ n3 [
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus+ }9 I1 V% v# a
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills9 x* G9 j3 N4 ~, [0 J! w
Prefer basic understaning about German
