What are my responsibilities?

3 S7 V5 |4 ^( V; oContinual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
. p9 X& @3 }" n. m) B! |6 iProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS; G y6 M, k4 I$ |+ F( }7 D
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations i; y& M9 L/ y0 X/ h
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring* ~" _" e9 ^$ _
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications H" l2 Q+ g. l0 L. l( X: C
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
" a% K7 S4 n: o/ UTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors4 C2 s' U- M9 ]5 K2 z2 H
Research, define and provide terminology; J4 r p: A% d6 T5 o1 c. v
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level
4 E3 O& Q; x4 Z. G4 s4 S! y# }Support and advise external translators
' }5 d# z& K" ]" m9 dUpdate the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior5 Q% ~+ a# q' J1 o& C. i9 a
* e2 T3 a X4 U7 g9 [What do I need to qualify for this job?
9 q1 @, b4 z" G/ ^2 q! {% _$ f" z. g% z: u, H: C
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience+ `0 H3 j) e$ q9 D
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)5 r6 a* d2 j$ j
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market; G/ ^- P( S# p; O1 s2 @
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus
& n: g D* x! @8 A8 e. ~% `! sAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills) b. x' I& E! G5 Z/ e6 i2 Q6 d( q
