With winter, a peak season for infectious diseases coming, the risk of the COVID-19 pandemic further spread is growing. Here are some tips for protecting yourselves against the coronavirus in colder climes.
一、减少聚集。影院、商场等人员场所及旅游景点应通过限流、错峰等方式减少人员聚集。人员尽量保持一米以上的社交距离。餐饮场所应分散错峰就餐,减少人员聚集。在公共场所应佩戴口罩,保持社交距离。
1. Avoid gatherings. Limits should be put on the number of people allowed into public facilities such as cinemas and tourist spots. Keep a distance of at least one meter at gatherings. Stagger dining times at restaurants. Wear a mask at crowded public spaces and keep a safe distance.
二、保持清洁。生活居室保持清洁,经常开窗通风换气,保持空气流通。从公共场所返回后、饭前便后、接触门把手或电梯按钮后用洗手液洗手。不确定手是否清洁时,避免用手接触口鼻眼。打喷嚏或咳嗽时注意遮挡口鼻,生病时尽量不去人员聚集场所。
2. Personal hygiene. Keep rooms clean. Open Windows often to keep the house ventilated. Wash hands with running water and soap after returning from public facilities, before eating and after using the restroom, or touching door handles and elevator buttons. Don't touch eyes, mouth or nose with dirty hands. Cover nose and mouth when sneezing and coughing. Don't go to crowded places when sick.
三、注意饮食。生鲜及冷冻肉产品应充分清洗。烹饪过程应生熟分开操作,生熟食物分开存放。保持食物安全温度。少吃辛辣的食物,以减少对呼吸道的刺激。在饭店就餐时提倡使用公筷公勺。
3. Eating. Fresh and frozen meat products should be fully cleaned. Raw and cooked food should be separated in cooking and preservation. Eat less spicy food to avoid irritation to respiratory tracts. Use serving chopsticks and spoons at restaurants to prevent cross-contamination.
四、锻炼身体。坚持每天运动,增加户外活动。运动不仅能促进身体的血液循环,增强心肺功能功能,对呼吸系统也是很有意义的锻炼。要避免受凉,保证睡眠充足,生活不规律会使免疫系统功能减弱。充足睡眠能消除疲劳,增强免疫力。
4. Exercise. Daily exercise could improve the body's immunity. Exercise boosts blood circulation and the functions of heart and improves the respiratory system. Avoid catching a cold. Sleep well. Irregular lifestyles weaken the immune system. And sleep helps remove fatigue and boost immunity.
五、提高警惕。当自己出现流涕、发热、咳嗽等症状时,应及时到医院就医。不要自己胡乱吃药,以免延误诊断和治疗。
5. Stay vigilant. When you show symptoms such as a runny nose, fever, or coughing, go to hospital for treatment promptly and don't take medicines without consulting a doctor.
六、经常喝水。冬季气候干燥,要多喝水,让鼻黏膜保持湿润,有助于抵御病毒入侵,还有利于体内毒素排出。
6. Drink more water. Drinking water helps keep the nasal mucous membrane wet in a dry climate and provides protection against viruses. Keeping hydrated also helps discharge toxins in the body.
