I thank Her Excellency Maria Espinosa, the PGA. I thank the Secretary General for his remarks tonight. And we are very happy to take this opportunity to celebrate the Presidency of the Security Council, which is Equatorial Guinea in February.
感谢联大主席埃斯皮诺萨阁下。感谢秘书长今晚的视频致辞。我还很高兴借此机会祝贺赤道几内亚担任安理会2月的轮值主席国。
Today is the first time that we celebrate the Chinese New Year at the UN headquarters. So it’s an honor for us, for my mission to present the symphony orchestra performance to all of you. And we are very happy to see that the symphony orchestra from Suzhou came to New York to give performance to the United Nations, to the members and to the members of the Secretariat.
今天是中国首次在联合国总部庆祝中国新年，我们非常荣幸在此举办新春音乐会。我们欢迎苏州交响乐团来到纽约，为联合国及各位成员带来今晚的演出。
This is a very young symphony orchestra, established only less than two years, with musicians from more than 39 countries. I think this orchestra is a very special one. We can call it a mini-United Nations.
苏州交响乐团是一支非常年轻的乐团，成立不到两年，乐团的音乐家来自39个国家和地区，它如此特别，本身就可谓一个‘小联合国’。
So I thank the artists of the symphony orchestra for taking time with us during holidays. And I wish the performance a great success!
在此，我感谢艺术家们在中国新春佳节之时，为联合国总部的来宾们带来这场中西合璧的听觉盛宴。祝愿演出取得圆满成功！
