To everyone in Britain and around the world celebrating Diwali, I send my very best wishes.
我要向在英国及全世界每一个庆祝排灯节的人，送上最良好的祝愿！
It’s an enormously special time of the year for Hindus, and across the world temples will be lit up for this wonderful festival.
对于信奉印度教的人来说，这是一年中最盛大特别的时刻，全世界的寺庙将会在这一节日里点亮灯火。
Diwali’s universal message of hope over despair, light over darkness, good over evil, that’s something that we should all celebrate.
排灯节所传递的普世信息：希望代替绝望，光明照亮黑暗，美好战胜邪恶，正是我们所有人都应该为之庆祝的理念。
And to all the Hindus here in Britain I say this: you make a huge contribution to our country and I am enormously grateful for everything you put into it. You are a shining example of how communities can integrate, while at the same time retaining a strong and proud identity.

It is that special identity, that faith, which is right at the heart of Diwali, and it’s that faith which is being celebrated around the globe today. So wherever you are in the world, enjoy the celebrations.
