Our Foundation has been partnering with China for over 15 years, and we are proud of the work we've done togenter. For example, safe and effective Chinese-made vaccines for Japanese enncephalitis, polio and HPV are saving lives in China and around the world.

The Global Health Drug Discovery Institute (GHDDI) launched by our Foundation in partnership with Beijing government and Tsinghua University has achieved breakthroughs in broad candidate discovery for malaria, tuberculosis and COVID-19.

We're also working with the Chinese Academy of Agriculturual Sciences and help countries in Africa ease the food crisis and adapt to climate change with new, higher yield, low maintenance and nutritious varieties of rice. In Nigeria and Mali this new variety produced as much as 50 percent more rice than the previous one.
