What are my responsibilities?

Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders% @ K- X5 k N1 ^- Z: t9 F6 ?2 F2 C
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS& c: s$ e4 _; C/ \/ ^8 A' M0 p% t/ f
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
3 v ^% y9 y- p: I* m- Z" j9 o/ WOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring6 V8 k. k- G2 [0 v: c, z! R ]
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
1 q4 @& ^2 Z) x4 VOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
* ?! K- P+ |8 ?9 E1 Y% mTranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors! I) E; L# L9 [
Research, define and provide terminology
* ?2 H+ g5 w+ B% MAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level3 B1 v+ t5 G& u: ?2 f; P% u
Support and advise external translators

4 O; K* u4 Y" _+ sWhat do I need to qualify for this job?
( X/ y0 C4 \5 ]' h, P; q$ L( J4 Q: [/ P, \7 N
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience# b# W8 ^' J- e) X' U
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)5 |0 v" A! x3 \1 u9 \! K2 E- T
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market
( @% \/ O D" M5 w$ \$ dExcellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus( r: n a) R9 b/ n# ?
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
