Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders9 n5 X7 P0 F8 v( c/ L
Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS& J$ D) z% F8 C/ [* ]0 `
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
9 k+ t/ z$ B+ y7 z+ ~, ]# Q) _( |Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring
! V) Y6 h9 [& j' p- }2 h6 @) mOrder processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications
0 x1 _5 Y) }0 e3 l% `2 |4 QOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results
, J# @. U& ^ k# ITranslation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors, Y# [2 Y% |0 D/ _4 `
Research, define and provide terminology

Support and advise external translators

0 @* t& f7 b6 Y% u4 IWhat do I need to qualify for this job?( a0 d( _! `2 T& U, |
- I3 [/ b# K; R0 p- E4 O- oBachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience5 Q7 @9 _7 T$ i. g; F+ }* h
Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)
( \1 Z! ]) L7 n( |1 ZExcellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market: N9 V' [0 B" r! R
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus, J4 t6 x" J3 @4 ?2 h
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills' \% {/ e+ r1 u; ^8 z' O+ l5 l
Prefer basic understaning about German0 a, @% k' Y( ~* L6 y) q
