Continual management of interfaces to a wide range of stakeholders
3 I! ?6 h4 P b' e7 s4 z. s- b$ r2 FProject acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS
; @ b4 P( B4 N# J/ kReview translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations
' e+ z( j; Q6 m' c( P4 aOrder planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring/ b7 \6 J, ~" H
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications. e. a& E' T. N) T! X
Optimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results! [: \3 ^5 @ W9 s% Y5 d& z
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors
* i" ?; y/ @1 DResearch, define and provide terminology9 p% j6 }" f4 t' a! Y! G
Advise customers on a technical and linguistic level' z5 O1 Z* {1 N% [/ ?
Support and advise external translators' j+ z e7 [# N2 C
Update the reports, and complete other tasks assigned by the superior

What do I need to qualify for this job?; d! Y& @4 v' w( f9 u$ L4 B
$ A! r5 x& V, p; \4 o- p9 I+ T
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience
# _! q; l) x6 X$ }Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)0 G$ w( t+ x1 ^1 M7 r
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market" d B5 k8 o& J+ ^! \
Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus/ n2 ]4 Y8 I3 C8 ^4 J/ \& W
Ability to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills
