Today we celebrate jazz and its unique capability to bring people of all backgrounds together.

今天，我们庆祝爵士乐及其独特的魅力，它将各种背景的人聚集在一起。

Jazz is more than music. Born in African American community of New Orleans, jazz embodies the values of freedom, dialogue and peace. It brings people together and gives voice to the struggles and aspiration of millions of people. It is the perfect vehicle for expressing the values of UNESCO.

爵士乐不仅仅是音乐。诞生于新奥尔良的非裔美国人社区，爵士乐体现了自由、对话与和平的价值观。它将人们聚集在一起，并为数百万人的奋斗和愿望发出声音。它是表达教科文组织价值观的完美工具。

Every year on April 30th, International Jazz Day, thousands of schools, clubs and theatres across the globe celebrate jazz and share its message with future generations. UNESCO encourages you to be part in this celebration. to learn about this rich art form and to embrace its spirit of unity, hope and free expression.

每年4月30日国际爵士乐日这一天，全球成千上万所学校、俱乐部和剧院都会庆祝爵士乐，并与下一代分享其传递的信息。教科文组织鼓励您参加这一庆祝活动，了解这种丰富的艺术形式，拥抱其团结、希望和自由表达的精神。
