Project acquisition in the context of the entire service portfolio of GTS' y, m" S9 w8 W# A/ a: H7 A
Review translation inquiries and prepare cost-covering quotations" g; V' D& j4 `& K- U
Order planning including schedule, quality and cost monitoring M ~! x. |9 F F5 H6 r% q5 b
Order processing in line with internal guidelines / specifications ( v8 O! Y$ ?) ?5 h, q0 d4 MOptimization of work processes with the aim of delivering efficient and high-quality results: O3 u p; S- s% L. g; B$ w
Translation, localization and proofreading of technical documentation (Manuals, Online Help, User Interfaces, etc.); good cooperation with external vendors 3 r, ]7 X% \& Z0 f z4 wResearch, define and provide terminology . v* z$ c" B _% BAdvise customers on a technical and linguistic level 8 r; q; m! Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (from a famous university is a plus), successfully completed studies (technical translation, automation engineering related) or comparable training with corresponding job experience 7 l. g) C# S) O; g! {7 f3 {Well grounded understanding of basic technical matters of translation (translation memory, content management and workflow systems); at least 2 years’ experience as a technical translator is a must (better in a localization company)/ S% x6 H/ p {+ M
Excellent knowledge of the local Siemens translation market 6 p5 D- D2 Y$ n0 o4 c1 M" S- N% |Excellent Chinese and English written and spoken skills; CET-6 or TEM-4 Certificate is a must, TEM-8 Certificate is a plus 1 J( Q$ N% g* XAbility to assert oneself, focus on results and excellent analytical skills as well as a talent for planning and organizing; teamwork spirit and good communication skills4 ~% L b$ J, n0 m
