加拿大总理特鲁多2021年复活节致辞
2021年4月4日
Happy Easter, everyone!
大家复活节快乐!
This weekend, my family will join Christians, here in Canada and around the world, to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
这个周末,我们家将会同加拿大及全世界所有基督徒一道庆祝耶稣基督的复活。
This is the second consecutive Easter where COVID-19 has forced us to celebrate differently. That means many of us won’t be gathering with friends and family, and some of us may not be able to attend Easter service.
I know that these activities just aren’t the same over Zoom or on the phone. But we can still find ways to celebrate and reflect on Jesus’s message of compassion, kindness, and hope – because now those values are more important than ever.
At our house, Sophie and I will still help the kids hunt for Easter eggs. And as a family, we’ll try to get outside and enjoy the spring weather. I’m lucky to have the people I love the most living in the same household as me, but I know for many Canadians, this Easter will be another holiday spent alone.
