China Space Heading Towards the Deep Space

It takes tenacity and open-mindedness to long for the sea. Looking up at the stars, we always have the dream and courage to explore the unknowns. Stepping on the waves, embracing the starry universe, we are making progress step by step. Accompanied by the spritual strength, we forge ahead without the fear of hardships and into the frontiers that have not yet been reached.

中国第一颗人造地球卫星发射时间是1970年4月24日，中国航天史的新纪元由此开启，中国航天精神代代相传。

China’s first artificial earth satellite was launched on April 24, 1970. The new era of China space has been opened and China space spirit passes down from generation to generation.

自力更生，自主创新，始终是航天精神的不朽灵魂；系统管理、严慎细实，始终是攻坚克难的制胜法宝；尊重科学、尊重人才，始终是事业发展的动力源泉；追逐梦想、合作共赢，始终体现着和平利用太空的胸怀和担当。

Self-reliance and independent innovation are always the everlasting soul of the space spirit. Systematice management and prudence are always the trump to overcome difficulties. Respect for science and talent is always the source to inspire career development. The pursuit of dreams and reciprocal cooperation always embody the spirit and commitment to the peaceful utilization of outer space.

梦想的力量、探索的历程、合作的胸怀，体现了中国航天从大到强的信心。

The power of dreams, the course of exploration, and the mind of cooperation reflect the confidence to make space industry of China from big to great.

在逐梦前行的道路上，中国航天人不断刷新着人类攀登科技高峰的中国高度。2019年1月3日，嫦娥四号探测器实现人类探测器首次在月背软着陆。2019年12月27日，长征五号遥三火箭成功发射意味着中国具备了探索深空的能力。

On the way to achieve the dream, China space community continues to make new achievements on exploration of the science and technolgy. On January 3, 2019, the Chang’e-4 probe made the first soft landing on the far side of the moon. On December 27, 2019, the successful launch of the third flight of Long March-5 launch vehicle meant that China was capable of exploring the deep space.

2020年，中国航天再度扬帆起航。航天遥感、通信、导航卫星与大数据深度融合，积极助力科技抗疫及复工复产。空间科学、空间技术、空间应用服务经济社会国计民生，助力数字中国创新发展。

In 2020, China space will sail again. The deep integration of remote sensing, communications, navigation and big data helps the resumption of work and production. Space science, space technology, and space application serve the economy, society and people’s livelihood and contribute to innovative development of Digital China.

中国空间站建设加速推进，北斗卫星导航系统将完成全球组网，嫦娥五号探测器将实现月面采样返回。中国还将自主发射火星探测器，它将承载着中国航天人的光荣与梦想，向着宇宙深空进发，追逐更远的星辰大海！

The construction of China’s Space Station is accelerating. Beidou Navigation Satellite System will fulfill the constellation for global services. The Chang’e-5 probe will achieve lunar sample return. China will also launch its own Mars probe which will carry the glory and dreams of China space community heading towards the deep space and chasing the starry universe.
